Who this notice covers

This notice covers the Rap With Me website and its rap video, lyric and song tools. For questions about our handling of your information or to make a privacy request, email support@rapwithme.com.

Some features, including generation and purchases, may be unavailable before launch. The sections below describe what happens when those features are used.

Information we process

• Account information: your name, email address, authentication records and account identifiers when you register or sign in. Passwords are handled by our authentication system; never send them to support.
• Creative content: the photos, song ideas, names, funny incidents and lyrics you submit, generation settings, task identifiers, results and error states.
• Billing records: orders, payment provider references, payment status and credit transactions. Payment details entered in a provider’s checkout are handled by that provider.
• Technical information: request and security information needed to operate the service, including IP-related request information, browser information and session cookies.
• Support messages: the email address, message and relevant account, order or task references you choose to send us.

Selecting a photo creates a local preview in your browser. The app uploads it only when you submit a generation request. Example portraits displayed before you choose a file are website illustrations.

Why we use this information

We use information to provide accounts and rap generation tools, protect accounts and files, track task progress, deliver results, process orders and credits, investigate errors, respond to requests, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Where a legal basis is required, providing a requested service generally relies on performing our agreement with you; fraud prevention and service security may rely on legitimate interests; mandatory records rely on legal obligations. Where we rely on consent for an optional use, you may withdraw that consent.

Generation and service providers

Submitted photos, lyrics, song ideas and generation instructions are passed to SeeAPI, the AI service used by the current product. Video requests use Seedance 2 or MiniMax H3; lyric and song requests use AI Music M2. Hosting, private object storage, database, authentication and enabled payment services also process information needed to run their part of the service.

Photos, full lyric drafts, generated audio and video are stored in private object storage. The database keeps ownership, task and file records. The generation provider receives signed links that expire after 24 hours rather than access to your account. These links are temporary access credentials; they do not make the photos a public gallery.

Providers apply their own processing and retention practices. A link expiring or a file being deleted from Rap With Me does not prove that every provider copy or backup has been erased. We do not promise that a provider never retains inputs or uses them for model improvement. We do not publish your uploads in our examples automatically.

Service providers may process information outside your country. Applicable contractual or other safeguards depend on the providers and locations used; contact us for information relevant to your request.

Storage and retention

Uploaded source photos remain in your Files until you delete them or request removal. The 24-hour access link is not the photo’s storage lifetime.

Generated videos, audio and lyric text have a retention notice in the workspace. The default is three days for a guest wallet and three calendar months for a registered account. The period displayed for your file controls its availability; different service settings can apply. Download a copy before expiry. Expired files stop being accessible through the app and are scheduled for cleanup.

Account, support, security and transaction records are kept for the purpose they serve, including resolving disputes and any applicable accounting or legal obligations. Removing creative content does not automatically delete those records. Backup removal and provider-side removal may follow separate schedules.

Cookies and optional measurement

We use browser storage for sign-in, session or wallet continuity, preferences and task resumption. When you choose to reuse lyrics in another tool, the draft is stored in this tab’s session storage until the tab is closed. Optional visitor measurement and Google Analytics are disabled in the current default release. If optional analytics is enabled, this notice and any required choices must match that use.

Your choices and requests

You can remove uploads in Files. For account deletion, a copy of your information, correction, a privacy concern or a request concerning an identifiable person in a video, email support@rapwithme.com. There is no one-click account deletion feature at present.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain portable information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. We may need to verify that a request is yours and may retain records we are required or permitted to keep. Do not send passwords, recovery keys or identity documents in an initial message.

Adults and photo permissions

Rap With Me is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Submit photos only of adults whose permission you have to use their likeness for AI generation. If you believe a child’s information or an unauthorized likeness has been submitted, contact us with the relevant reference so we can investigate.
